Today’s market place is volatile. Anyone can be a threat and entrenched market leaders are forced to defend themselves against entirely unexpected challengers who are waging a war using technology. Enterprises must become technology companies to remain competitive, and getting there is far from easy.
But big enterprise can still win in this space. Digital transformation is the new way to stay relevant to win in the market. Today's generation of business transformation is coming from a digital space that has reinvention at its very core, requiring a deep commitment to actively use new ways to approach change.
This talk explores what reinvention means in this "new digital organization" including the reframing of roles, self, mindset, culture and resources. Most importantly it provides practical, achievable tips on how to progress without failing and to successfully lead change over time using small steps done everyday with great care.Wake up Techweek! roOomy’s mission is to empower people with technology to experience any place in 3D and be able to virtually decorate it with real products from home furnishing retailers. The prerequisites to our mission are the ease of use to convert any room photo or scan in a 3D space and to have real-world immersive 3D content that can be viewed on any device.
We envision a revolution in the home- and furniture buying experiences. In the future, before people purchase furniture online, with roOomy they will be able to see what it looks like in a virtual rendering of their home. And before buying a house, people can virtually visualize how their new home will look like decorated with their furniture, walls colors and floors.
HTML and CSS are the fundamental building blocks of the web. Whether you're a beginner who wants to get started in web development, a designer looking to hand-code their concepts, or a marketer who wants a little more control over their CMS, you'll need to know HTML and CSS to get the job done.
This lunchtime session, designed for the beginner programmer, will assume no previous coding knowledge. We'll go over key coding terminology and principles, introduce languages like HTML and CSS—what their functions are, and how they work together.

Hang out on a Thursday night with other Startup & Tech Rock Climbers. Spend a few hours climbing, then head over to the local bar for drink specials or anywhere else you decide to go.
Our weekly Thursday climbs are non-formal, come when you can, leave when you want events. You might even call them casual! For our weekly climbs, there's no set agenda or formal orientation. Organizers may or may not be present at our Thursday climb, so consider them as "no-host" events.
That said, if you're a first time climber and don't mind just diving in head first, come on out! There will sometimes, but not always, be an event host or two around to give tips and advice, and the climbing community is very friendly and helpful as well. Not to mention all the great fun you'll have. After conquering their first climb, it's not at all uncommon for new climbers to exclaim at the top of their lungs, "I'M KING OF THE WAAAAAAALL!" (see "Titanic")
However, if you're new and would like a little more orientation to climbing, join us for our Monthly events where we'll be focusing on orienting new members, climbing, socializing, and learning a thing or two from each other. Maybe even from an honored tech guest! Does anyone know Mark Zuckerberg? Or maybe someone who just looks like him? Heck, I'll even take his less know, made-up brother, Chad Zuckerberg.
We don't have a monthly climb scheduled at the moment but stay tuned!
