Innovation Across Borders: Challenges and Opportunities of Immigration in Tech

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Forty percent of Silicon Valley's biggest and most successful companies have at least one immigrant founder. Innovation knows no borders, and yet our country's broken immigration system often keeps the best and brightest from establishing themselves, their families, their companies and careers here. Hear from the co-founder of RadPad, CTO of Whisper and co-founder of Make in LA about the challenges and opportunities that immigration poses to the tech industry - as well as what you can do to advocate for solutions. The panel will be moderated by FWD.us, a tech policy advocacy organization founded by Mark Zuckerberg to promote policies that keep the American Dream achievable in the 21st Century - starting with immigration reform.
